​Terms of Service

​1. Rental and Shipping

​The rental term is defined by the date selected at checkout. We estimate shipping to take 2 to 7 business days. We are not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier.

​2. Deposit and Return

​A $500 security hold will be placed on your credit card at the time of order. This hold is fully released upon our satisfactory receipt and inspection of the box. You will receive a prepaid return label via email the day after your event date. The box must be shipped back within 2 business days of receiving the return label.

​3. Damage and Loss Policy

​Customers are responsible for ensuring all contents are returned. If any item is missing or deemed damaged beyond standard wear and tear (as determined by The Boxed Mystery staff), we reserve the right to charge the customer the replacement cost for that specific item, deducted from the $500 security hold or charged directly to the payment method on file.

​4. Hints and Solutions

​Each rental includes one free hint or solution. Additional hints are available at a cost of $15 per request.
